Deal Summary

Volga Farming is a Russian Farming company, registered in Cyprus. It was established in 2007 by three Swedish investors with long and successful track records of investing in Russia. Volga Farming started buying agricultural land in the Penza region of Russia in the first half of 2008 and now farms in excess of 60,000 hectares. In September 2008, SP Angel Corporate Finance LLP acted as financial adviser and broker in relation to a private placement which raised additional equity for Volga Farming to acquire further land in Penza.
