Deal Summary

Consolidated Asset Management ("CAM") is an IFA consolidator quoted on AIM. SP Angel Corporate Finance LLP acted as financial adviser to CAM on a placing of £ 1.75 million by way of an issue of 125 million new Ordinary Shares to Mayfair Limited. As the placing resulted in Mayfair owning 59.3 per cent of CAM, shareholder approval of a waiver of the Takeover Code obligation to make an offer for the company was required. SP Angel acted as Rule 3 adviser to CAM on the Whitewash.
